Bobby Quinlan is the head coach of SFEA's 2007 Boys US Soccer Development Academy team as well as the SFEA 2002 Boys. This past spring, he completed his US Soccer Federation Youth "A" License, the highest licensing for a youth coach. Also in 2017-2018, Bobby was a National Finalist for the Positive Coaching Alliance's Double Goal Award, which recognizes outstanding coaches who have been nominated by their peers for being exceptional at teaching both on the field and life lessons. In addition to coaching at SFEA, Bobby Quinlan is also the Girls’ Varsity Coach at Urban High School.
As a player, Bobby played Division 1 soccer at Lehigh University, and helped lead his team to the first ever Sweet 16 appearance for a Patriot League school, as well as Lehigh’s highest end of season rank—14th in the country.
Since moving to San Francisco, Quinlan has been the Head Men’s Coach at The College of Marin, coach of a few of the San Francisco Vikings top travel teams, and an Assistant Coach for Sacred Heart Cathedral. In 2014, he won the Cal North competitive coach of the year for District 1.
