The San Francisco Elite Academy's Goalkeeping Training program is designed to develop the potential of our goalkeepers for the highest levels of competitive play.
Training sessions are divided among age groups and genders, and each of our goalkeeping sections has two dedicated sessions per week. Goalkeepers are encouraged to spend their third weekly session with their teams.

ABOUT OUR GOALKEEPING PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Patryk Tenorio is the Director of Goalkeeping for SFEA. In addition, Patryk is part of the USF coaching staff and has been involved in the NorCal soccer scene as a goalkeeper trainer and team coach working with youth players from various clubs like Juventus SC, De Anza Force, SF Vikings, and more. He has also trained goalkeepers from other D1 programs like Portland, San Diego State, San Jose State and Cal Poly. Tenorio is also the Assistant Coach for San Francisco's PDL soccer team, SF City FC.
In his youth, Tenorio was a goalkeeper at one of the first residential soccer academies in the nation - St.Stephen’s Soccer Academy in Austin, TX - which regularly sent players to college programs and the MLS. There, Tenorio had the opportunity to train with and play against national teams and youth academies from around the world such as the Bahamas MNT and Liverpool FC. Tenorio went on to play at the College of Wooster where he was the starting goalkeeper and achieved the third-best save percentage in the conference his freshman year.
After trialing for professional clubs across the MLS, NASL, and USL Pro, Tenorio decided to give back to the game by focusing on coaching full time. Tenorio holds a USSF D license and is also pursuing his UEFA license having achieved his FA Level 1 in coaching. Additionally, Tenorio has certifications with the FA Level 1 in psychology and The FA Level 1 in talent identification. He has attended goalkeeping courses by legendary goalkeeper coach Frans Hoek, who has worked for clubs like Ajax Amsterdam, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, and FC Barcelona.
Tenorio was born in Rzeszów, Poland, and is fluent in English, Spanish and Polish. His father - John Tenorio from Cali, Colombia - played professionally in the Polish 1st Division and is also a USSF and UEFA licensed coach.
