SFEA announces partnership with Dr. Henry Oyharcabal , DC

The San Francisco Elite Academy is happy to announce a partnership with the chiropractic practice of Atlas Health Center. Atlas Health Center is committed to improving the all-natural health outcomes of our athletes for the entire duration of the season and beyond.

Dr. Henry Oyharcabal ​, DC, Atlas Health Center founder and former soccer player, understands that chiropractic care is extremely useful in promoting positive musculoskeletal outcomes, increasing the athletes’ flexibility and strength, extending the duration of training periods that the athletes, and various other facets of being an elite athlete. Dr. Oyharcabal  works with several SF Delta’s players.
 
An additional component of musculoskeletal health in elite athletes can also be instrumental in preventing injuries given the sometimes grueling nature of The Academy’ schedule. Regularly receiving chiropractic treatment keeps the spinal column and neck properly aligned, ensures that the body is moving throughout proper locomotion processes, and that the muscles and nerves in problematic areas are provided with the right internal environment to carry out their function. With this environment, the potential to become injured decreases significantly. Even if injuries do occur, chiropractic care plays a role in assisting the athlete in the recovery process making their return to game action much quicker.

Both parties involved in the partnership are looking forward to what the team will be able to accomplish with chiropractic care provision on a regular basis. With special attention to each athlete individually, the chiropractic team has the ability to form care pathways that will help the team altogether while still tailoring more intensive care delivery for the athletes themselves.
