ARE YOU READY FOR THE #NEXTLEVEL ? |
About the SFEA Youth ProgramThe fundamental mission of our Youth Program is the long-term soccer and athletic development of the youth player.
Our coaching staff has more years of combined coaching & player development success than any other local club. We understand youth soccer development isn't collecting trophies. And it doesn't come with burning out players with overly structured drills and piling in more and more games. It's about building confidence and character and developing confidence. And it's about instilling a love for playing soccer combined with technical and athletic development guidance that is both age-appropriate and backed by science. Our youth program:

WHY CHOOSE SFEA's YOUTH SOCCER PROGRAM?
2019-2020 FEES
GUEST PLAYING AND PLAYING UP
Travel teams competing in the NorCal league are free to guest on other NorCal travel teams within the club subject to age restrictions. Our guest policy is to sometimes allow players extra opportunities to get game experience. Players who are excelling at their current level will have the opportunity to play at a higher level or age group in order to service their soccer development needs. In other instances, guest playing may sometime be offered to cover roster spots when an older team has players unavailable and/or injured. PLAYING TIME
Our soccer programs are both developmentally-oriented and competitive in nature. As such, playing time is an important component of our youth program. All match-rostered players present are expected to play, and the goal is to provide each player an approximate minimum of 33% match time. Exact playing time is affected by a number of factors, including training attendance, adherence to team and club rules, as well as a player's demeanor during a game (e.g., a player removed for rough play or "cautioned" may remain out of a match if they have not calmed down). |
"The San Francisco Elite Academy is a first-of-its-kind program in San Francisco. Top players no longer need to migrate out of the city for competitive play. Her love for the game is off the charts, and the Academy and its coaches have opened doors for her. We are so fortunate to finally have such a regarded youth soccer program for San Francisco kids."
